Should JWs perform immigration screening for jihadiis ?
by gone for good injehovah's witlesses worship and serve the same desert god as do all the worlds jihadists.
both these groups experience the same giddy delight contemplating the worldwide annihilation of infidels .
jihadists and jw's share the same wet dream of theocracy - the idea that public governance is best left to an invisible genocidal, misogynistic homophobic, sadistic, megalomaniacal bully...and his (male) earthly imitators.. jw's and jihadiis both covet their delusion of imagining themselves as the sole survivors of a global bloodbath - think of the stupendous irony there!.

Bitter-Sweet Memorial of nearly 3,000
by Kensho inthis memorial was my 40th (minus a couple of yrs, df'd) and although i have faded as far as possible and still able to keep my family and friends it was the strangest and most reflective of all since learning ttatt.. i tried to focus on the talk to see if it was anything earth shattering but the only thing was the major focus on who should not partake.. i won't focus on the talk as many have already posted that and the fact that it was from a gb/fds outline it was the same everywhere.. i quickly started looking around at all the people wondering how many were like me totally awake like someone who wakes up from anesthesia during major surgery and feels immense pain, but know one in the room knows.. there must be many among us, we can't speak , move or share our pain we must endure.
that is truly hell.. when i looked around at the large crowd i saw many whom i love dearly and have had truly wonderful times with, ones that i would still gladly give my life for not as jdubs but just because of who they are.. .
these are good people who for the most part are just trying to be the best humans possible in an impossible situation.

Make Your Contribution Really Count.
by Slidin Fast inif you don't live in the uk you won't understand what is going on.
it seems the whole country is pouring money into "comic relief".
currently 66m has been donated tonight and that is likely be doubled when the dust settles.. the refreshing thing is that every penny goes to make a difference.

''Re-examine all you have been told...dismiss what insults your soul.''
by gone for good inthis wonderful walt whitman quote is featured on a page of a fabulous website - www.journeyfree.org.
phd.
marlene winell posts great essays on the destruction and harm caused to those exposed to fundamentalist teaching and tactics, and more importantly, how to support those courageous enough to walk away from an entire worldview fabricated from false truths.. excellent informative reading from an intelligent articulate author .. your observations would be most welcome.
